Today’s guest is Snejina Zacharia. Snejina is the founder and CEO of Insurify, the largest online insurance marketplace in the country. After getting into a minor car accident while getting her MBA at MIT, her insurance spiked. What followed was hours of jumping from different carrier sites, answering the same questions over and over again both online and on the phone. Insurify aims to solve this problem by reinventing the way people search, compare, buy insurance and manage all their policies online. It’s a technology platform powered by artificial intelligence that provides fast, accurate, personalized recommendations and quotes to help you make confident decisions about your insurance coverage and carrier. Prior to founding Insurify, Snejina was a B2B sales leader for many years which included a stint at Gartner. While at Gartner, she established and grew three lines of business, each with millions of dollars of annual revenue across the USA and Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In this interview, we get what life was like growing up in Bulgaria, what prompted her move to the US, her work experience prior to Insurify, and all things Insurify and entrepreneurship.
